At Nurturing Knowledge School our passion is your child's potential. We believe in finding the genius in every child, which sets the right foundation for success and a life-long love of learning. We focus on the whole child by offering opportunities for growth in cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. We do this by creating lessons appropriate for the unique development and learning style of each child, which allows fulfillment of his or her individual potential.

Nurturing Knowledge Schools are unique, small learning communities nestled in the residential neighborhoods of Seattle, Washington. We have created inviting environments that provide a safe, supported, first school experience for your child.

Our History

Nurturing Knowledge School has been offering unique, quality School Age programming in the Ballard community since 1995. The foundation of our organization began with our School Age Program located on two campuses; Greenwood and Loyal Heights. We then expanded our offering and developed a Preschool Program with four campuses located throughout the Seattle, Washington area. Both our School Age and Preschool Programs are aligned in their core values and teaching philosophy. Our programs collaborate and work closely together to build a strong, united set of premier schools.
