    • Child-initiated projects and exploration of topics suggested by  
       students and based on their interests/questions/curiosities
    • Children plan and conduct investigations/activities in small groups 
       and/or individually

Outside Play
    • Balls, jump ropes

    • Observe weather, animals, birds, and the natural world
    • Nature walks

Lunch
    • Family-style lunch
    • Children eat lunch brought from home

Learning Stations
    • Learning centers are available for child-initiated learning through 
       play
    • Two changing “special” centers available – writing, special art or 
       science exploration, creation station for building and constructing, 
       woodworking, etc.
    • Small skill-focused groups
    • One on one time focused on child’s individual goals

Closing Circle/Dismissal
